A stone built two/three berth cottage in a beautiful setting beside the canal basin and overlooking the Derbyshire hills.
Top Lock Bungalow is in the heart of the canal heritage area of Marple, overlooking the small marina near the historic flight of Locks. It is ideally placed for a variety of activities as in one direction you have the beautiful hills of the Peak District National Park and in the other, the city life of Manchester. Marple itself, with its variety of shops, pubs and restaurant is within walking distance.
There is an excellent public transport service, rail and bus, to Marple and we can arrange to meet guests at the railway station if necessary.

Hall; lounge with dining area; rear porch giving access to marina; compact fitted kitchen with electric cooker/hob, microwave, fridge; shower room with toilet & wash basin; double bedroom with single folding bed.

Services:
Full gas central heating, all fuel, power, linen and towels included in price. Parking adjacent to bungalow, cot and high chair available on request.
Colour TV, radio/cassette player, shared lawn area with garden chairs. Dogs allowed under strict control at a charge of £12 per week.
The bungalow sleeps two people with a folding bed for occasional use and is available all the year round, offering weekly bookings or short breaks. It has wheelchair access via a ramp to the front door and the interior doors are wider than usual.

Parents of small children should be aware that the bungalow is adjacent to the water.
